HiDE's story began nearly 42 years ago in the town of Twentynine Palms, where our co-founder was first introduced to the Hi-Desert. The connection to this land runs deep — through generations, through desert light and dark skies, through the particular silence that only exists out here.
That relationship didn't end. It compounded. It brought us back, kept us here, and eventually made us want to share it — not as a product, but as a portal.
An energy worker and somatic guide who found her path through her own fertility journey. She also teaches natural dyeing — creating art from the landscape itself. Bri is the spirit-side of HiDE: the intuition, the heart, the why behind everything we build.
A traveler at heart — photographer, hospitality geek, and host of group trips and photography adventures. Eric is the technical mind behind HiDE. The reason the platform works, and not just in theory. He's also the one who'll drive you out to a dark canyon at 2am to photograph the Milky Way.
Every experience is hosted by someone who actually lives here. Not a franchise, not a platform importing experiences from elsewhere. The Hi-Desert has extraordinary people doing extraordinary things — we just make it easier to find them.

We've both hosted our own experiences for years. We know what it takes. HiDE exists to give local hosts a platform with real support, not just a listing service.
The Hi-Desert has been discovered and undiscovered and rediscovered many times. We're here for the long version — the one where the community benefits as much as the visitors.
We're a small team. We have two boys and a bunch of animals and we're doing this as the wild adventure that it is. We'll always be honest about what we are and what we're building toward.
